The gather unit is used at the base of the chimney where an open fire is situated
It has a 220mm x 300mm square base with mesh to assist whilst fixing it to the chimney stack

| Installation Guide: | This item is used Mainly on open fires where a Flue Liner has been fitted : Secure your Flue Liner to the top of the Gather Unit , just slide your liner into the top of the Gather Unit and secure with Self tapping Screws through the Holes on the Outsaide of the Adaptor , then just make the Joint good by inserting Fire Cement or Silicone Sealant to seal . Drill through the Mesh on the Bottom of the Gather Unit 2-3 times on each straight Lenght of Mesh as these are the holes you will need to line Gather unit up into position , Drill holes into brick work insert Raw Plugs and secure using screws through the Mesh : in some cases you may need to use a washer to help stop the Screw from going through the Mesh . If you can see any Gaps around your Gather Unit you will need to seal these with Fire Cement or High Temp Silicone Sealant. |
